Thompson receives scholarship from CSB Ashley R. Thompson, daughter of Craig and Marsha Thompson of Vermillion, has been awarded a $7,500 President's Scholarship by the College of Saint Benedict for the 2002-03 academic year. Thompson is a first-year student at CSB.
The President's Scholarship is presented to students with excellent academic records and strong leadership and service credentials. Recipients must have a minimum high school grade point average of 3.60 to be considered. The President's Scholarship is a four-year renewable scholarship.
The College of Saint Benedict is a private, nationally recognized women's residential, Baccalaureate Liberal Arts, Catholic Benedictine college of 2,000 students, located in St. Joseph, MN, joined in a coordinate mission with Saint John's University for men.
