Meyerink finishes second at SDSU Keri Meyerink, a sophomore for The University of South Dakota women's golf team, shot a two-day total of 166 (84-82) and finished tied for second at the South Dakota State Jackrabbit Invitational held at the Brookings Country Club on Sept. 15-16.
Meyerink, of Mitchell, whose 82 was tied for the best round of the second day, finished tied for second with Lindsey Brown of SDSU (83-83).
Annie Spaulding of SDSU won the invite by shooting a two-day total of 162 (80-82). USD's Lacey Weber a junior from Salem, finished fifth with a 171 (86-85). South Dakota State won the invitational with a team total of 678 (334-344). The Coyotes finished with a 719 (355-364) while Augustana had a 729 (370-359).
Other South Dakota results included: Michelle Powers , a freshman from Avon, 11th, 186 (89-97); and Laura Rofshus, a junior from Albert Lea, MN,
16th, 196 (96-100).
