USD golfers finish 10th

USD golfers finish 10th The South Dakota women's golf team finished 10th with a two-day total of 697 (347-350) at the Concordia College Invitational at the Wildflower Golf Course in Detroit Lakes, MN, held on Sept. 7-8. Keri Meyerink led USD, finishing ninth with a two-day total of 160 (81-79).

Northern Colorado won the meet with a two-day total of 642 (320-322). Minnesota State-Mankato finished second with a 643 (317-326). Emily Russel of Northern Colorado was the medalist with a 156 (80-76). Russell finished one stroke ahead of Dana Hasselberg of Bemidji State and Beck Digman of Minnesota State-Mankato, both who shot a two-day total of 157.

Other South Dakota results included: Nora Remily, 177 (90-87); Lacey Weber, 177 (87-90); Katie McCormack, 193 (94-99); Michelle Powers, 186 (92-94); and Laura Rofshus, 187 (89-98).
