VHS boys' golf team hosts triangular meet by Jim Prosser The Tanager golf team was host to Canton and Winner in a 16 hole competition held at The Bluffs on Friday Sept. 20. This was a replacement for the Mitchell invitational which was cancelled for this season.
The varsity's only match used the four best of five scoring format. The results were: Vermillion � 318; Winner � 391; Canton � 408.
The top five Tanager scorers were: Medalist � Nathan Boots 71; Rob Schaack 80; Chris Moen 83; Brad Schaack and Broc Gauer 84 each; and Brad Schaack 41.
Since only the varsity teams from Canton and Winner attended, it left room for the VHS JV members to participate also.
Leading the JV scorers were: Alex Schaack 87; Jordan Boots 94; Joel Anderson 98; Ryan Powell and Mikal Ustad 101 each; Steven Timms and Charles Odson 106 each.
