VHS cross country competes at Lennox by Jim Prosser Both the Tanager girls and boys cross country teams ran at the Lennox/O�Gorman/Yankton quadrangular on Friday, Sept. 6.Only Lennox and Yankton fielded complete girls JV teams.
The JV boys from VHS had Danny Shen at #14 in the 3K distance. Danny Redlin was 17th; Anish Patel, 20th; and Raleigh Tiahrt, 21st.
The team scores for the varsity girls were: Yankton � 18, O�Gorman � 26, VHS � 37, Lennox � 70.
The Tanager Girls individual 4K run results were: #7 � Katarina Gombocz, #8 � Megan Griffith, #10 � Nikki Mollet, #12 � Kayla Nelson, #16 � Morgan Brooks, #26 � Tera Dehner, #28 � Theresa Ring, #29 � Kayla Mollet, #32 � Sarah Plate, and #33 � Megan Bedard.
Boys varsity team results for the 5K meter run were: Yankton � 18, O�Gorman � 22, Lennox � 52, Vermillion 72.
Tanager placers were: #16 � Justin Manning; #23 � Wilber Lio; #24 � Dan Pearson; #26 � Mitch Beirle; #27 � Thomas Dendinger, and #28 � Kaleb Berry.
