Boys' golf travels to Madison by Jim Prosser Madison High School hosted a triangular meet involving the Vermillion and Custer varsity and JV golf teams in an 18-hole competition at the Madison Country Club on Friday, Sept.27.
The varsity match used the four best of five scoring format and the results were:
Madison 318; Vermillion 336; Custer 368.
Medalist was James Green of Madison with a 75. The top five Tanager scorers were: Brad Schaack 80; Nathan Boots 82; Rob Schaack 85; Chris Moen 89; and Broc Gauer 95.
JV team results: Madison 361; Vermillion 384; Custer 452. Leading the JV scorers was Madison's Mike Brozik with 80. Vermillion scorers were: Ryan Powell 90; Alex Schaack and Joel Anderson 95 each; Jordan Boots 104 and Steven Tims 105.
