Justice Harding will speak at USD Oct. 24 The W.O. Farber Center for Civic Leadership at The University of South Dakota in Vermillion will welcome Supreme Court Justice Major Harding to campus on Oct. 24.
He will speak at 6:30 p.m. in Slagle Auditorium. The speech is free and open to the public.
Justice Harding, who wrote the dissenting opinion in Bush v. Gore, will speak on "Election 2000: Lessons from the Past � Hope for the Future."
The speech is being sponsored by the W.O. Farber Center for Civic Leadership at The University of South Dakota.
