Students of the Week named for Oct. 7-11

Students of the Week named for Oct. 7-11 Every elementary teacher at Wakonda Schools has Good Time Tickets. When a student is caught being good or doing something nice for others, their name is submitted in a box in the library.

One time a week Mrs. Lueth draws a name from the box to declare the winner.

For the week of Oct. 1-4, Mrs. Lueth drew Brian Steffen's name out of the box. Brian is a sixth-grader at Wakonda Elementary School.

Brian was awarded a certificate and candy bar for being "Student of the Week." The newly formed Wakonda Booster Club, P.R.I.D.E, sponsors this honor.

Receiving the Student of the Week honor for Oct. 7-11 was Daniel Sokolowski, a fifth- grader.
