Tanager golfers defeat S.C. East

Tanager golfers defeat S.C. East Hosting the Sioux City East Raiders at The Bluffs on Monday, Sept. 30, the Tanagers came away with wins in both the varsity and junior varsity matches.

Medalist for the varsity was Nathan Boots, with a par 36, leading the team to a 162-164 victory. Scores of the remaining members were Chris Moen � 39; Rob Schaack � 42; Broc Gauer � 45 and Brad Schaack � 46.

For the junior varsity, Alex Schaack was medalist with a 40. Other members' scores were: Ryan Powell � 41; Jordan Boots � 44; Joel Anderson and Charles Odson � 48 each; Mikal Ustad � 49 and Steven Tims � 58. The team scores were Vermillion � 173; SC East � 180.
