Wakonda All-State Chorus singers chosen by Ashley Anderson Wakonda students participated in audition for All-State Chorus the last week of September.
The try-outs were held for ninth- through 12th-graders. Four students were chosen for All-State Chorus and three alternates were also selected. They are: Kayla Nielsen, soprano; Andrea Gregoire, alto; Lindsay Nelson, alternate alto; Emily Logue, alternate soprano; Alex Nielsen, tenor; John Donahue, bass; and Andrew Peterson, alternate bass.
The performance will be held in Sioux Falls Nov. 7-9. The participants will be singing eight songs in a variety of styles and languages.
