The VPL will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 for the legal holiday of Thanksgiving. We hope our patrons will enjoy being together with family and friends during this time. The library will reopen during regular hours on Friday, Nov. 29.

Holiday Open House
The Vermillion Public Library will kickoff the holiday season with activities over three days. On Friday, Nov. 22 join us with The Switching of the Lights at 6 p.m. and Supper With Santa from 6:15 to 8 p.m. The downtown stores will be open that night until 8 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 23, sleigh rides will originate from the library, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons craft activities for the whole family will take place in the community room of the library from 1 to 4 p.m.
