Peterson named club officer The Dakota Wesleyan University Psychology Club has named its officers for the 2002-03 academic year.
Officers are Robert McCoy, Halfway, OR, and Carrie Peterson, Wakonda, co-presidents; Teri Peterson, Dunseith, ND, vice president; and Deborah Swenson, Mitchell, secretary/treasurer. Faculty advisors are Randy Sprung, assistant professor of behavior sciences, and Anne Wessels, assistant professor of psychology.
The Psychology Club is open to all students at DWU. The club works to promote learning, interest in psychology and stronger professional relationships with faculty. In addition, the club promotes student research and sponsors student participation in conferences and other scholarly activities. Members also take part in community service and homecoming.
Dakota Wesleyan University is associated with the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church and offers 40 majors and minors in several liberal arts and professional fields. The university has an enrollment of more than 700 students and is located in Mitchell.
