SDPTV presents Outside the Box

SDPTV presents Outside the Box This month, South Dakota Public Television is proud to present its groundbreaking new show, Outside the Box on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m.

Featuring high-profile personalities from the area, Outside the Box will air live from Sinte Gleske University on the Rosebud Reservation. The show is an hour-long, unrehearsed and unscripted discussion of the day's headlines. Guests will be responding to matters outside their own individual fields of expertise. Outside the Box includes a live audience and performances by South Dakota's very own up-and-coming new artists.

SDPTV producer David Livingston hosts. The program will feature the reigning Miss South Dakota Vanessa Short Bull; multi-millionaire Lance Morgan, who almost single-handedly reduced unemployment on the Winnebago Reservation by 50 percent; Frank Pommersheim, an Indian law professor at USD; and Russell Means.

There will also be special performances by the drum group, Red Leaf and native dancers Mike and Denise One Star.
