Church sponsors four-week study The United Methodist church is sponsoring a four- week study based on the PBS video series titled A Force More Powerful.
This series explores the encouraging history in the 20th century of the successful use of strategic non-violence to overcome oppression. The study, led by the Rev. Cal Petersen, began Dec. 1 in Vermillion.
It will continue from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Vermillion First United Methodist Church until Dec. 22.
