ESA Giving Trees spread Christmas joy As the Christmas season approaches, it is time to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas is a time for giving, a time for helping our fellow man, and a time to teach our children the joy of giving and not just receiving.
This year ESA Giving Trees are located in the following stores in Vermillion: Pamida, Hy-Vee, Jones' Food Center, the Vermillion Public Library, Nook 'n Cranny and Never Neverland. There are over 200 children's names on these trees. We need your help!
If you are able to help, please take a tag from one of the ESA Giving Trees, purchase any or all of the gifts listed on the tag and return the unwrapped gifts to one of the above stores by Monday, Dec. 16. Be sure the tag is attached to the gift/gifts when you return them.
There are also donation envelopes on the ESA Giving Trees. Monetary donations will be used to purchase gifts for the children whose tags are not taken off the trees.
The members of the Theta Omega Chapter of ESA thank the owners and employees of Pamida, Hy-Vee, Nook 'n Cranny, Never Neverland, Jones' Food Center, and the Vermillion Public Library for so graciously giving of their time to help us with this worthwhile Christmas project.
A special thank you goes to the people of Vermillion who have always been so generous in helping bring smiles to the faces of so many children on Christmas morning. All gifts donated to the ESA Giving Trees will remain in Vermillion.
