Lucia Festival scheduled Dec.8 The public is invited to attend the annual Lucia Festival, a traditional Swedish holiday, Sunday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m.
The festival will be held at Dalesburg Lutheran Church, 30595 University Road, Vermillion, or 5 1/2 miles west of Exit 38 on Interstate 29.
There will be a Scandinavian program featuring the crowning of Lucia. Scandinavian food will be served. A freewill offering may be made.
