Sioux Valley Vermillion announces new Web site People from all over the world will have 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week access to Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center when they visit the medical center's newly developed Web site. John Paulson, CEO of Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center, announced Dec. 10 that Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center has developed a Web site that is available on the World Wide Web. The address is www.siouxvalleyvermillion. org.
The facility's Web site was designed to be a source of healthcare related information regarding hospital, clinic, congregate living, and nursing home.
"We decided to develop our own Web site to enhance our communications in our commitment to service excellence to our patients, visitors and the community we serve. This is also a great tool for those who may live across the country or the other side of the world who want to know about our services perhaps when looking for medical or long-term care for someone they love," said Paulson.
People can access the Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center Web site to learn about health related services and more. Some of the features of the Sioux Valley Vermillion site include the latest news, physician information, employment opportunities, on-line applications for employment and calendar of events.
The Baby Gallery, a birth announcement page where photos of babies born at Sioux Valley Vermillion Hospital are featured is sponsored by the Dakota Hospital Association & Foundation. In addition, www.siouxvalleyvermillion.org will link to Sioux Valley general health information pages where visitors can learn about different diseases, prescription drugs, and treatment options and more.
"Our Web site is another important community health resource. The information will continuously change and we will continue to enhance and expand it to meet the needs of those accessing the site," said Mary Merrigan, director of public relations at Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center.
Sioux Valley Vermillion Medical Center is a member of Sioux Valley Hospitals & Health System and local health care partner with Dakota Hospital Association & Foundation.
