The Bluffs Bulletin Board Seniors enjoy December golf
Twenty-one hardy seniors enjoyed a good day for golf on any day but especially for Dec. 10 at The Bluffs and had a run of good scores.
Our winning team of Harlan Schott, Vern Christensen, and Ted Van Bruggen came in with a 35, one under par. Congratulations, men.
Other prize winners were at 37, Ross Johnson, Ron Brown, and Tom Walker and the team of Alan Clem, Max Anderson, and Howard Connors; at 38, Shorty Hanson, Jim Reed, and Louie Fostvedt.
There were six birdies scored on six different holes with holes 1, 7, and 9 not yielding a birdie.
Our shot of the day award goes to two golfers. Jack Stewart for his birdie 47-foot downhill putt on #4. Our other award goes to Jim Reed for his drive on the green of #5 followed by his putt for a birdie too. Good going, Jim.
Weather permitting, we will try again next Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 12:30 p.m.
