Nelson joins Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic

Nelson joins Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic Judith Nelson, certified nurse practitioner, has recently joined the Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic.

A graduate of the Nebraska Medical Center Nurse Practitioner Program and Briar Cliff College Nursing Program, Nelson has extensive experience in community and occupational health, clinic services and education.

"We are very excited about having Judy as a member of our Patient Care Team at Sioux Valley Vermillion Clinic," said Dr. Vicki Walker, clinic medical director. "Her clinical interests, education, and experience will be of great benefit to our community and Student Health Services. Judy will help expand our practice and offer patients convenience and expanded access to our clinic services."

Nelson and her husband Perry have two children, Erik and Amanda. Mr. Nelson is a course coordinator and Iowa Waste Exchange representative at Western Iowa Technical College. Amanda is a sophomore majoring in music education at The University of South Dakota. Erik is a senior at East High School in Sioux City, IA and plans to attend USD in the fall.

The Nelson's plan to make their home in the Vermillion area later this year. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
