Now showing on screen in South Dakota: Red Green! Last November, South Dakotans flocked to Pierre and Brookings for the South Dakota premiere of the movie Red Green's Duct Tape Forever. Now, South Dakota's favorite flannel friend makes another trip to South Dakota's big screens in Sioux Falls and Rapid City.
On Jan. 25, the movie will show in the Elks Theatre in Rapid City at 1 and 3 p.m. MT and the West Mall 7 Theatres in Sioux Falls at 1 and 3 p.m.
Like the TV show, the movie features Red Green, who keeps Possum Lodge maintained thanks to the handyman's secret weapon � a few rolls of duct tape. One day, a visitor arrives in a limousine to visit the lodge, and ends up stuck in a huge sinkhole on the property. Red Green and his friends manage to get the car out of the hole, only to see it sink in a nearby lake. The visitor successfully sues the lodge for damages amounting to $10,000. The Possum Lodge gang scrambles to find an idea to save the lodge and ultimately comes up with a duct tape contest in Minnesota. Heading toward the United States with a huge duct tape sculpted goose in tow, the pair discovers the visitor's real motivation.
