Totals bars, 29.625; beam, 26.5; floor, 21.475; vault, 32.8.
"We didn't quite meet my expectation for this meet," said coach Mark Upward. "We had a good start on vault and bars, but the beam and floor weren't up to par."
Note: The Tanagers' Katie Connors had a nasty fall during her beam performance and was unable to compete on the last event, floor. There were only four VHS floor performers to begin with, so there were only three scores available for the team total. Also Ariel Hofman qualified for state with a 31.45 in the all-around. She met the standard of at least 30.0 points for three meets during the season.
Sarah Christopherson only needs one more 30.0+ all-around score and she, too, will qualify for state.
