Nine schools were represented at the meet which began at noon at the VHS gym.

All of the eight schools invited attended the tournament Britton, Chamberlain, Clark, Milbank, Miller, Stanley Co., Wagner and Winner. The meet also included a special fun contest to determine who could maintain a handstand without "crumbling" for the longest period of time. Each grade level competed and the winners were:

Seventh/eighth grade Whitney Knippling (Chamberlain) 30.2 sec.; Freshmen Angie O'Neill (Clark) 27.84 sec.; Sophomores Sarah Christopherson (Vermillion) and Mateya Kuhlman (Wagner) tie 52.03 sec.; Junior Whitney Wojahn (Milbank) 36.87 sec.; Senior Kristine Clausen (Clark) 59.38 sec. She was declared the grand champion.

Each 7-11 winner was presented a stuffed snowman for a prize and Clausen received a snowflake bear plus a trophy.

The top 10 scorers in each of the four events and all-around were recognized, with each being awarded a place medal. The final team results were: Vermillion 121.2; Miller 121.0; Milbank 117.9; Clark 113.9; Chamberlain 112.15; Wagner 108.9; Britton 108.5; Stanley Co. 104.6; and Winner 96. 2.
