Wed in August Jennie Ella Haarsager and Scott Nobles Lieske were married Aug. 31 at St. Alban's Chapel in the Medicine Bow Mountains of Wyoming.
The bride is the granddaughter of Doris Haarsager Olson, the late Ralph Haarsager of Vermillion and the late Norma and Carl Wince, all of Vermillion. Her parents are Julie and Greg Smith of Fort Collins, CO, and Dennis and Sandra Haarsager of Moscow, ID.
The groom is the son of Claire Lieske of Vallejo, CA, and the late Valerie Schmidt.
Matron of honor was the bride's friend, Molly Cogswell-Kelly, of Bend, OR, and best man was the groom's brother, Todd Lieske of Benecia, CA. Also in the wedding party were the bride's sister, Anna Haarsager and friends Kristen Knutson and April Roark, and the groom's friends, Dave Roemer, Bill Rutlin and Paul Blackman. Family attending from Vermillion were the bride's aunt and uncle, Gordon and Margaret Johnson.
The bride received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University and her master's degree from the University of Wyoming. She is employed by the Wyoming Department of Health as the state HIV prevention coordinator.
The groom is a graduate of Antioch College and also received his master's degree from the University of Wyoming. He is employed by the University of Wyoming as a research scientist in rural and environmental planning.
After a trip to Belgium, France and the Netherlands, the couple is at home in Laramie, WY.
