Area swimmers participate in meet The Tri-State Swim League 2003 Championship Meet was held on March 8.
Matte Haacke coached six Vermillion swimmers. Stacie Kjelson won a third place trophy for overall high point awards in the 9-10 girls division. Karissa Martin won first place in the 11-12 girls overall high point awards. Results were:
9-10 Boys
Jason Rasmussen � Sixth 50 free, ninth 50 back, 13th 50 breast.

Stacie Kjelson � Second 50 fly, third 50 free, 100 IM, fourth 50 back, sixth 50 breast.
11-12 Girls
Karissa Martin � First 50 back, 50 free, 200 IM, 50 breast, second 50 fly.
13-14 Girls
Sara Rasmussen � Seventh 100 free; Erin Rasmussen ��Second 50 free, third 100 fly, fourth 200 IM, 100 back, fifth 100 free.
