Exchange vows

Exchange vows Stephanie Barbara Mork and Timothy Phillip Ganschow were married at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Wakonda, with the Rev. Joseph Forcelle officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Rickie Mork and the late Wayne Mork, Centerville. The bride's grandparents are Gerald and Barbara Poppenga of Lennox. Belmonte and Dorothy Leek of Recluse, WY are her great grandparents. The groom is the son of Darby and Cathy Ganschow, Wakonda. The groom's grandmothers are JoAnn Ganschow of Wakonda, and Gerry Devine of Sioux Falls. Jennifer Mork, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and John Ganschow, brother of the groom, served as the best man.

The bridesmaids were Amanda Overgaard, Catie Ganschow, Katie Larson, and Elizabeth Heinzmann. Lacey Poppenga served as junior bridesmaid. The flower girl was Kinsey Sherard. The bride's personal attendant was Joddie Sherard.

The groomsmen were Jeff Ganschow, Robbie Ganschow, Adam Nelson and Andy McCue. The ring bearer was Jackson Lund. The ushers were Aaron Mork, Dale Pope, Eric McCue and Matt Klamm.

Jackie Quinn and Kayla Nielsen were soloists and JoEllen Friedrichsen was the organist.

Candle lighters were Tiffany Ganschow and Andy Ganschow. Flower pinners were Julie Mork and Staci Larson. Jamie and Jill Poppenga attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Legion Hall, Wakonda, with Bruce and Patty Mork and Dennis and Cindy Ganschow as hosts. Punch was served by Patricia Lund and Kelley Devine. Cake was cut by Joyce Pope and Brenda Ganschow. Special helpers were Justin Poppenga, Josie Poppenga, Mary Ellen Kennedy, Joseph Lund and Abby Larson.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Centerville High School and will graduate May 10 from Dakota State University with a double major in English for information systems and multimedia Web development.

The groom graduated from Wakonda High School in 1998 and Mitchell Vo Tech in 2000. He is employed at Crescent Electric Supply in sioux Falls. The couple resides in Sioux Falls.
