Gayville Hall announces season Gayville Hall celebrates the beginning of its third season on March 22 with the music hall's Hank Williams tribute starring John and Susan McNeill, Nick Schwebach and Owen DeJong.
Other highlights of the season include the return of Prairie Home Companion's Robin and Linda Williams, a tribute to the late South Dakota old-time musician Chet
Olsen, and premier regional artists such as Poker Alice, Gordy Pratt, Chuck Suchy, and the South Dakota Jazz Quintet. John and Susan McNeill of Springfield host and open concerts with their own great music.
Scheduled spring and summer performances include:
March 22 � "A Celebration of Hank Williams."
April 5 � "A Tribute to Chet Olsen," with Tom Schaefer, Owen DeJong, Bill Peterson, Nick Schwebach, the McNeills and guests.
April 19 � Kickland, Johnson and Martin ("Meridian Bridge").
May 3 � The Poker Alice Band.
May 17 � Gordy Pratt.
June 7 � Austin legend Cowboy Johnson with Marley Forman (of Red Willow fame), Nick Schwebach and Owen DeJong.
Aug. 1 � Robin and Linda Williams and Their Fine Group.
Additional summer concerts will be added. All performances are at 8 p.m. on Saturdays, except for the Aug. 1 concert, which is on Friday. The hall is at 502 Washington St. in Gayville.
Admission to see Robin and Linda Williams will cost $15 at the door or by advance reserve. Tickets for all other concerts are $10 at the door or $12.50 for an advance reserved seat. Call 605-267-2859.
