The 2003 golf season is here. The Wakonda golf team under the direction of Jim Nielsen and Jim Morrison, have begun their training on the greens. Their first golf meet is April 3 at the Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton.
The 2003 golf team welcomes students: Kayla Nielsen, Chris Rederick, Matt Jorgensen, Alex Nielsen, Tyler Moser, Nick Peterson, Ashley Anderson, Patrick Morrison, Bo Martz, and Brittany Rederick.
Head coach Jim Nielsen said, "Our best strength for this year is our returning letter-winners and our weakness is our lack of depth."

The next few golf meets are Glenridge Invite at Glenridge in Irene held April 15-17, Marion Invite at Par-Mar Golf Course in Parker on April 22, Glenridge Invite at Glenridge Golf Course in Irene on April 25, West Central Invite at Central Valley in Hartford on April 28, Tri-Valley Conference at Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton on May 1, Freeman Invite at the Valley View Golf Course in Freeman on May 5, and Bon Homme Invite on May 9.
The Regions are on May 12, and the State Golf Meet is on May 19-20.
