More load restrictions lifted Spring Load Restrictions were removed Monday, April 21, from the northeastern portion of the state bounded on the west by SD 47, on the south by SD 34, on the east by the Minnesota border, and on the north by the North Dakota border. This removes all spring load restrictions from all state highways, except from Highway 71 from US 18 south to the Nebraska border, which remains posted at seven tons per axle.
