Dr. Rolf Olson, a professor of music at The University of South Dakota who has known DiMartino for years, said that there are great opportunities for the public to come hear DiMartino. "His performances on Friday and Saturday evenings give everyone the chance to hear one of the country's great trumpet performers," Olson said.

DiMartino is one of the country's most sought after trumpet performers and educators. He is equally accomplished in performing in the jazz and classical styles.
