DiMartino will perform with the USD Jazz Ensembles on April 11 and with the USD Brass Choir and Trumpet Ensemble on April 12.

On April 11, he will present a trumpet/jazz clinic dealing with trumpet playing techniques for high school and college students at 3 p.m. On April 12, he will present a master class for college students at 2 p.m.
Both clinics will take place in the Colton Recital Hall of the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts.
His energy and enthusiasm for music, trumpet, and life will be evident to all with whom he comes in contact while here. All are encouraged to meet him through attending one of his clinic/master class sessions or the public concerts in which he is featured with the USD Jazz and Brass Ensembles.
Special invitation goes out to students and teachers who would benefit from DiMartino's gift for communication with music. Dr. Rolf Olson, a professor of music at The University of South Dakota who has known DiMartino for years, said that there are great opportunities for the public to come hear DiMartino. "His performances on Friday and Saturday evenings give everyone the chance to hear one of the country's great trumpet performers," Olson said.
DiMartino is one of the country's most sought after trumpet performers and educators. He is equally accomplished in performing in the jazz and classical styles.
