Requiem will be presented April 13 The choral work Requiem by British composer John Rutter will be presented on Palm Sunday, April 13 at 4 p.m. at the United Church of Christ-Congregational by the combined choirs of UCCC and First United Methodist Church and other interested singers.
The work will be directed by Dr. Matthew Harden of the university music department and director of the Methodist Church choir.
The Requiem will be accompanied by an ensemble of Anna Vorhes, harp; Rachel West, cello; Nan Holland, flute; Catherine Odson, oboe; Meredith Allen, timpani; Dr. Sarah Smith-Waters, bells; and Jack Noble, organ. Soloists will be Jeanne Mayer and Gretchen Burbach. A free will offering will go to the Welcome Table.
