Kevin Bleil pitched a complete game, giving up six runs on six hits and six walks while registering nine strikeouts. Unfortunately the Tanager offense couldn't make up for the seven fielding errors, as they produced three runs on six hits.

Tanager runs were scored by Kevin Bleil (two for four), Drew Lawrence (one for three), and Jared Burcham (one for three). Andy Ofstehage was one for four with one rbi and Tim Bleil was two for three batting.
The second game gave the JV team a measure of revenge as the Tanagers scored a 9-4 four-inning victory. Jason Donald led the offense with a two-run, two for two hitting, two rbi performance. Zach Weiss and Jared Burcham each scored one, batting one for three, with one rbi. Brad Schaack went one for two with one run scored. Ryan Mockler had a sac fly, one for one at bat, and three RBIs.
Alan Bos scored a run after reaching base on hit by pitcher, and Collin Prosser duplicated the feat. Tim Bleil pitched two innings giving up four runs (one unearned), on three hits, one walk, and one K.
Schaack relieved and gave up a hit, no runs, two walks, and five Ks.
The JV record is 4-2-1 and the varsity season record stands at 3-6.
