Dennison assumes squadron command Air Force Maj. Timothy J. Dennison has assumed command of the 509th Maintenance Operations Squadron at Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, MO.
He is the son of Joyce A. Dennison of Vermillion, and brother of Matthew G. Dennison of Elk Point.
The major graduated in 1982 from Elk Point High School, and received a bachelor's degree in 1987 from South Dakota State University, Brookings. In 1992, he earned a master's degree from Troy State University, AL.
