Senior Spotlight: Lindblom: Don't wait for the last minute; senior's plans include military by Tyler Knudson John Lindblom was born on Oct. 12, 1984, to Murray and Jean Lindblom. John has two sisters, Jenny his twin sister, and Stacy, his older sister.
John, nicknamed Jimmy, was involved in many activities while in high school, including: Peer Helpers, basketball, track, shop and music. He also earned all-conference in football.
Lindblom's future plans are to work in the field of satellite communications and fiber optics. He plans on pursuing an immediate future in the military. Last summer, he spent six weeks in basic training. He learned about hard work, getting up early, and respect.
You can never find Lindblom at home. He will be at a movie or hanging out with his friends. His favorite movies are Black Hawk Down, The Ring, Smokey and the Bandit, and any Adam Sandler movie. His favorite music is rock and heavy metal. His idol is Hugh Hefner. John's biggest regret was not starting on his term paper and anthology sooner for English class.
John's advice for students still at Wakonda High School is, "Don't wait for the last minute to do things."
