USD's Moyer named fraternity consultant Jesse Moyer, a member of Phi Delta Theta at The University of South Dakota, has recently been selected out of a highly competitive field as a Traveling Consultant for the fraternity.
His new position will entail traveling around the country to visit chapters of Phi Delta Theta, where he will assist the chapters with risk management, alcohol-free housing, recruitment, and ritual.
"This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time, and I am very excited to give back to an organization that has given me so much," said Moyer.
Genevieve Evans Taylor, program coordinator of Greek Life, said, "Jesse will be outstanding in this role. Jesse is dedicated to a fraternity experience based on the founding values of his fraternity."
Moyer is from Rochester, MN, and is the son of Hoss and Judy Moyer.
Moyer was also recently named Outstanding Fraternity President of the Year at USD. In nominating Moyer, his advisor described him as a leader that teaches others how to lead.
Moyer learned from those who went before him and mentors younger members to follow in his footsteps.
