Fox Run hosts family golf outing

Fox Run hosts family golf outing by Jim Prosser What a great way to celebrate Father's Day than to join in a parent/youth tournament.

A contingent of Vermillion families entered the Fox Run tournament on Sunday, June 15, in Yankton. The format was alternate shot, parent/child, in several divisions.

The 10-11 year olds had Aaron/Brian Steele as the first place winners with a score of 44; 12-13 year olds � Tyler/Jennifer Steele, second place (51); 14-15 age group � Alex/Tom Schaack, first place (81); Ryan/Bill Powell, fourth (84); 16-17 yrs. � Brad/Tom Schaack, second (80).

In addition, Alex won a flag prize for closest to the hole on #4, and Jennifer Steele landed 18 inches from the pin on #8 for a flag prize.
