Wakonda Little League report The Wakonda Little League traveled to Irene on June 4. Wakonda won 21-1. The leading hitters for Wakonda were Matt Brue, Jesse Gullikson each with a double. Brian Steffen had a double and a triple. Josh Wagner and Gregg Peterson, each had a single. Andy Ganschow and Justin Polley each had two singles.
Beresford I traveled to Wakonda. Wakonda lost 7-4. The leading hitters for Wakonda were Steffen with a triple. Ganschow, Wagner, Daniel Sokolowski and Gullikson each hit a single.
Wakonda traveled to play Beresford II. Wakonda won 5-2. The leading hitters for Wakonda were Polley with two triples and a single, Casey Skonhovd with a double, and Gullikson and Sokolowski each with a single.
Ganschow hit two singles.
