Exchange vows Julie Potter and Larry Mickalowski were married June 14 at the UCC Church in Vermillion, with the Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Parents of the
couple are Donald R. and Doris Potter, and Joe and Theresa Mickalowski of Sioux Falls.
Maid of honor was Cindy Fejfar, sister of the bride and the bridesmaid was Cathy Hayes, also sister of the bride. The bride's personal attendant was Jane Skogstrom, cousin of the bride, from Minneapolis. Tate Fejfar attended the guest book and Brittany Fejfar handed out programs, both of whom are nieces of the bride.
David Picasso was the best man, with Tom Treloar as groomsman. Both are friends of the groom from Sioux Falls. Mike Sullivan and Kyle Mickalowski, nephews of the groom, were ushers. Wedding music was provided by Anthony and Gretchen Burbach, Charles Thatcher and Molly Loder.,
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the basement of the church. Hostesses were Madonna Ryan and Marilyn Andreasen, aunts of the bride. Punch pourers were Judy and Jane Mickalowski, sisters of the groom. The cake was cut and served by nieces of the bride, Danielle Fejfar and Kelly Fitzmaurice.
Following a trip to San Diego and Las Vegas, the
couple will reside in Vermillion where the bride is in her 22nd year of teaching at the elementary schools and the groom is self employed with both a handyman business and home inspection business, Top to Bottom.
