Junior golf tour makes first stop by Jim Prosser The Austad Golf Company of Sioux Falls has implemented a junior golf tour consisting of five tournaments conducted every Monday – July 14 through Aug. 11.
On July 14, the first stop was held at Brandon Country Club involving 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 grades for boys and girls.
Vermillion entrants with their scores and places at BCC were:
Seventh-eighth boys � Jordan Boots � 75, first; Alex Schaack � 82, third; Broc Gauer � 85, fifth; Mikal Ustad � 98, DNP.
Ninth-10th girls � Chelsea Gauer � 113, DNP.
11th-12th boys � Brad Schaack � 82, DNP; Charles Odson � 89, DNP.
11th-12th girls � Jackie Thomas � 88, second.
The remaining venues are: The Bluffs (July 21); Edgebrook Country Club, Brookings (July 28); Spring Creek, Harrisburg (Aug. 4); and Willow Run, Sioux Falls (Aug. 11).
