Mollet throws 1-run, 1-hit win, improves his record by Jim Prosser In a super pitching effort, Kyle Mollet held Beresford to a one-run, one-hit victory in a rescheduled, relocated game played at Vermillion's Prentis Park on Thursday, July 10.
The first inning score was all that the visitors could muster as Mollet held them at bay with five Ks and only one fielding error in the 10-run rule, five-inning win.
A three-run first and second inning two-run outburst by the Vermillion offense was followed by a two-run third and capped by a four-run fifth to make the final 11-1 for Post #1.

Kyle Mollet scored a run going three for four at bat with two RBIs including the winner; Andy Ofstehage went one for two with two runs scored and two RBIs; Dan Holoch scored twice when reaching base by hit batter and base on balls; Ben Oberle went one for one with two runs and an rbi; Jared Burcham scored once and drove in one with two for two batting.
