The opening inning brought the visitors a quick two runs when Jared Burcham hit a single with the bases loaded. The lead stood up through 3 1/2 innings when Vermillion commited three consecutive errors and DV tied the score. Campbell led off the fifth with a hit followed by an rbi single by Bleil and a DV error to reclaim the two-run lead. The home team threatened with their two hits in the sixth but a Campbell strike out finished the inning and Bleil set down the final inning 1-2-3!
Campbell scored once from his leadoff spot going two for four. Bleil went one for four, scoring one. Kyle Mollet scored a run on one for four batting with one RBI. Eric Rickord scored a run and Burcham was one for three for two RBIs. Campbell's record is 1-1.
