Softball team resumes schedule after hosting weekend tourney by Jim Prosser The Vermillion fastpitch/ modified league resumed its summer schedule, after hosting the weekend invitational tournament on June 21-22.
The season opened on Tuesday, June 3, and has games every Tuesday and Thursday through July 17 (except for July 3).
Games on June 24 were cancelled due to inclement weather.

16U � Community First defeated EPJ 9-5 and tied with EPJ 15-15 (time limit)
14U � Verm Beauty Shop scores not available
First Dakota defeated EPJ 11-7 then lost to them 9-14

Houska Dental lost to EPJ twice 15-17 and 14-25.
