USD Disabilities Program receives grant

USD Disabilities Program receives grant U.S. Senator Tim Johnson announced June 30 that The University of South Dakota will receive $397,973 to fund academic training in its Center for Disabilities.

The project will be directed by Judy Struck, USD's executive director for the Center for Disabilities.

"These funds will further research and understanding of developmental disabilities," Johnson said. "I wish the best to Judy and everyone who will benefit from the program."

The grant was awarded by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities of the Department of Health and Human Services. The program is part of University Affiliated Programs, which focuses on academic training in the field of developmental disabilities.
