Wed in Sioux Falls Alexia Schut and Timothy Halverson were married on Friday, March 7 in the Amphitheater II at the Ramkota in Sioux Falls by Bill Matheson, justice of the peace.
Parents of the couple are Tim and Pam Godlevsky of Sioux Falls, and Ernie and Lois Halverson of Vermillion.
Maid of honor was Carrie Schaecher, friend of the bride. Best man was Todd Halverson, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Tracey Halverson, sister-in-law of the groom, and Valerie Krogman, friend of the bride. Groomsmen were Cory Moore, friend of the groom, and Greg Schut, brother of the bride.
Flower girls were Morgan and Payten Halverson, nieces of the groom. Ring bearer was Joshua Plucker, cousin of the bride. Ushers were John Paulson, cousin of the groom, and Tyler Schut, brother of the bride.
Linda and Brad Swee, aunt and uncle of the groom, were host and hostess. A dining reception and dance at the Harvest Room followed the ceremony.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Roosevelt High School, Sioux Falls, and is working on a nursing degree. The groom is a 1997 graduate of Vermillion High School. He is currently in his fifth year of service with the Army. He is stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA, where the couple is currently making their home.
