Engaged

Engaged Rachel Nelson and Dustin Oelmann of Sioux Falls have announced their engagement and plan to marry Aug. 30.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Craig and Leslie Nelson of rural Vermillion. She is a 1999 graduate of Beresford High School and received her bachelor of arts degree in biology from Augustana College in 2003. She works as a research analyst at Broin & Associates in Sioux Falls.

The groom-to-be is the son of Dale and June Brands of Sioux Center, IA. He is a 1998 graduate of Unity Christian High School, Orange City, IA, and received his associate degree in computer science from Northwest Iowa Community College in 2000. He currently works as a technical generalist at LodgeNet in Sioux Falls.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Las Vegas and will reside in Sioux Falls.
