Exchange vows Teisha Terril Upward and Matthew Thomas Lynch were married July 12 at West Kauai United Methodist Church, Kaumakani, Kauai, HI, with the Rev. Jim Brooking officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Marianne Upward, Vermillion, and Robert and Arnita Lynch, Sioux Falls.
Maid of honor was Terri Upward, Vermillion. Bridesmaids were Tyra Upward and Tristen Upward, Vermillion, Melany Pravecek, Vermillion, and Melissa Vigil, Albuquerque, NM.
Flower girl was Maile Baniaga, Kaumakani, HI.
The bride's personal attendant was Sarah Christopherson, Vermillion.
Jan and Abby Dela Vega, Hanapepe, HI attended the guest book. Thomas Lynch, Sioux Falls, was best man. Groomsmen were Joe Lynch, Sioux Falls, Sanoe Baniaga and Patrick Baniaga, Kaumakani, HI and Bryce Palmer, Kansas.
Wedding music was provided by Priscilla Badua, organist, Hanapepe, HI; Pat Baniaga, Kaumakani, HI; and Penny Madamba, Hilo, HI � vocalists.
Following the ceremony, two receptions were held at the Hanapepe Neighborhood Center, Hanapepe, HI, and the D.B.S. Hall, Viborg, on July 26.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Vermillion High School. She attended The University of South Dakota and is employed as an engraving specialist at JD's House of Trophies.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Roosevelt High School, Sioux Falls, and a graduate of The University of South Dakota in alcohol and drug abuse studies. He is employed as an adolescent chemical dependency counselor.
The couple resides in Sioux Falls.
