Exchange vows

Exchange vows Amber Taylor and Tyrel Margheim were married on Saturday, March 1, at Calvary Baptist Church in Yankton with the Rev. Larry Odle officiating.

Amber John was maid of honor and Heidi Norris was bridesmaid; both are friends of the bride. Corly Geckler, friend of the couple, was the bride's personal attendant. Tim Margheim was best man for his brother and Kevin Kallin, friend of the couple, was groomsman.

Ushers were Chris Wilke, friend of the bride, Rich England, friend of the groom, and J.C. Neilson, friend of the couple. Special music was provided

by Anthony Taylor, brother of the bride, and Sarah Margheim, sister of the groom. Al Margheim, father of the groom, read the Scripture selection.

Guest book attendant was Julie Kolar, friend of the bride. Gift book attendants and hosts were Tony and Sarah Armbrust, friends of the couple.

A dinner reception was held in the church fellowship hall, with a dance following at the Yankton 4-H building.

Following a honeymoon to Dallas, San Antonio, and College Station, TX, they are making their home in Vermillion.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA, and is employed at the

Sioux Valley Care Center as an activities assistant. She also owns Amber's Cleaning Service. The groom will graduatefrom The University of South Dakota in May 2004 with a master's degree in public accounting, after which the couple plans to live for a time in China.

The bride is the daughter of Jesse and Diana Taylor of Niles, MI. The groom is the son of Al and Ellen Margheim of Vermillion.

HEAD:Wed June 7

Stephanie Swick and Mark Kreie were married June 7 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Vermillion, with the Rev. Leonard Fox officiating. Parents of the couple are Chuck and Peg Swick of Vermillion, and Bob and Jan Kreie of Brownton, MN.

Matron of honor was Jessica Beier, Sioux Falls. Bridesmaids were Mary Kreie, Moorhead, MN, Trisha Justice, Sioux Falls, Tricia Lewison, Vermillion, and Sarah Spader, St. Louis, MO. Flower girl was Emily Benrud, Goodhue, MN. The bride's personal attendants were Angie Bjorkman, Vermillion, and Lonna Larson, Lawrence, KS.

Readers were Michelle Benrud, Goodhue, MN, and Terry Campos, Pine Ridge. Tressa and Kristin Olson, Vermillion, attended the guest book. James Gekas, Eden Prairie, MN, was best man. Groomsmen were Dave Fairbanks, St. Paul, MN, John Wellner, Blaine, MN, Brian Surine, St. Paul, MN, and Josh Larson, Golden Valley, MN.

Ring bearer was Santi Arago, St. Louis Park, MN. Ushers were Ryan Beier, Sioux Falls, and Chris Haberling, Miller, Drake Olson, Vermillion, and Rian Berg.

Wedding music was provided by Weston Olson, Gretchen Burbach and Anthony Burbach of Vermillion.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Valiant Vineyards Winery, Vermillion, with Joe and Kaye Bjorkman, Vermillion, and Dennis and Marie Thomsen, Shakopee, MN, as hosts. Cake was cut/served by Sherri Olson, Vermillion, Renda Bertrand, Gayville, and Barbara Notheis, Vermillion.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris and is attending the Physician Assistant program at Des Moines University � Osteopathic Medical Center.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris. He is teaching math at Newton High School in Newton, IA.

The couple resides in Altoona, IA.
