‘Give 4 Kids’ set August 24

'Give 4 Kids' set August 24 "Give 4 Kids," a benefit to provide area children with school supplies, is set for Sunday, Aug. 24 in Wakonda.

The event begins with a supper from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Wakonda Community Cafe. The menu features hamburgers, brats, baked beans and potato salad. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds will be donated for the school supplies.

A concert featuring Kayla Nielsen begins at 7 p.m. A free will donation will be taken at the concert. Nielsen's Christmas CDs will also be available for purchase.

Concert-goers are asked to bring lawn chairs.
