Letters Thanks, Vermillion for being a good neighbor

To the editor:

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Parker City Council and all the residents of Parker to extend a thank you to the city of Vermillion Electric Department in assisting Parker in their clean-up efforts following the devastating tornado of June 24, 2003.

Your actions which Parker witnessed during this trying time truly emphasizes the reason why we all choose to live in communities where neighbors help neighbors.
