Unclaimed property returns at record levels in S.D. South Dakota State Treasurer Vern Larson has announced that his office has returned a record $1,946,387 of abandoned and unclaimed property. Hard work and effective advertising of the list that includes $11,000,000 of abandoned and unclaimed property made the difference.
If you have any questions you can reach Vern Larson or the Unclaimed Property Division in Pierre at 605-773-3379 or on the Web site at sdtreasurer.com or e-mail the Unclaimed Property Division at firstname.lastname@example.org. Larson said, "If you are owed money we want to get it back to you. Check the list for your name or for a family member's name. You could have money just waiting for you."
