Awarded scholarship The College of Engineering and Technology, University of Nebraska, Lincoln, has awarded a $5,000 Nonresident Tuition Scholarship to Mikael A. Nelson on the basis of academic achievement. The scholarship is renewable for five years, for a total award of $25,000.
Nelson, a 2003 Vermillion High School graduate, is majoring in computer engineering and computer science at the Peter Kiewit Institute, a UNL program on the UNO south campus in Omaha, NE. He is the son of Mark and Debralee Nelson of Vermillion.
